- Do I have to be at my computer to use AuraViva?
- Not at all. Our service makes it easy to send automated agenda reminders to your calendar, email and mobile phone. You can even access your dashboard using your mobile phone or our native iPhone application (coming soon).
- How does AuraViva help me to feel better?
- The dynamic daily and seasonal cycles of sunlight influence the behavior of all living things on earth. Adjusting the timing and duration of your daily activities, like eating, sleeping and being exposed to sunlight, directly influences your personal body clocks. AuraViva is a personal, web-based circadian trainer that helps you sync your daily activities to the natural circadian rhythms of where you live.
- How much does it cost?
- Anyone can start a free 14-day trial for full access to the service, at no cost at all. Once your free trial has expired you can purchase a monthly subscription for $9.99 per month or an annual subscription for only $99 a year.
- Do I have to enter data for all my activities?
- Definitely not! Feel free to skip over the optional data points initially. Of course, the more data you put in, the more feedback and graphical comparisons you'll get back, but adding to your data points gradually will allow you to build up your feedback gradually and ease you into how body clock alignment and circadian synchrony works.
- How many goals should I start with?
- You can start with as many goals as you want, but starting with just one or two goals will give you plenty of feedback and recommendations to work with. This will make it easier for you to learn how the patterns of your activities affect your health and how they are related to your health goals.
- How precise do I need to be about my schedule and calorie data?
- Ballpark estimates are perfectly fine. What is most important about the data you enter is the overall pattern within each cycle. For example, do you eat most of your calories in the evening and night and eat relatively few of your calorie in the first half of the day? Do you get very little time outdoors in sunlight during the day, but have a lot of bright light exposure at night? So, don't worry about being super exact about your activity times or amounts. And don't feel like you need to update your data every day if your schedule varies by just an hour here or there.
- Do I have to make all the recommended schedule shifts in order to achieve my selected health goals?
- Not at all! In fact, it’s better to start with the recommended schedule changes and pattern shifts that are easiest for you to control. Given the time pressures we all live with these days, everyone is likely to have some parts of their schedule that make some of the ideals patterns very difficult or even impossible to adopt. That's ok. Make the shifts that you can, and you'll still get the benefits of improved body clock alignments. Make more shifts down the line as your earlier schedule shifts become regular habits and as changes in your obligations allow.
